Long Time No See… Or Should I Say, Long Time No Blog?

Well… it’s been a minute.

Actually, it’s been a long minute.

If you’ve been around Britt’s Lits for a while, you may have noticed things have been a little quiet on the blog side of things. And honestly? I’ve missed this little corner of the internet more than I realized.

The funny thing about blogging is that sometimes life gets so loud that the things we love get pushed to the side. Not because we stop loving them, but because we’re simply trying to keep up with everything else.

And that’s exactly where I’ve been.

Life has been a whirlwind lately. Between being a mom, trying to figure out my next steps, creating content, reading (because obviously that never stops 😂), and just navigating all of the ups and downs that come with being a human, my little blog took a backseat.

But the good news?

I’m back. 💕

And I’m so excited to bring Britt’s Lits back to life.

For those who are new here, welcome! I’m Brittany, the person behind Britt’s Lits. I’m a romance-obsessed reader, book blogger, aspiring author assistant, creator, and professional “just one more chapter” liar.

My reading taste is probably best described as:✨ emotionally devastating romances✨ morally gray characters✨ found family✨ books that make me stare at the wall afterward questioning my life choices✨ and, of course, fictional men who need therapy but somehow end up being everyone’s favorite

Basically… if a book can make me laugh, cry, throw it across the room, and immediately recommend it to someone else, I’m probably going to love it.

Since the last time I posted, a lot has changed. I’ve discovered new favorite books, added approximately 500 more books to my never-ending TBR (because apparently I enjoy making impossible goals for myself), started creating more bookish content, and continued building this little book community that means so much to me.

Moving forward, I want Britt’s Lits to be more than just reviews. I want this to be a place for:

honest book reviews

reading recommendations

bookish discussions

cozy reading chats

behind-the-scenes of my creative projects

and all the chaotic thoughts that come with being a reader

I also want to say thank you to everyone who has stuck around, followed along on social media, read my reviews, bought from my little shop, or simply cheered me on. Seriously. It means more than you know.

This blog started because I loved books and wanted a place to scream about fictional characters with people who understood. And somehow it turned into something so much bigger.

So here’s to new chapters (pun absolutely intended 😉), more reviews, more conversations, and hopefully a lot less disappearing.

I’m so happy to be back.
